Ybarra Academy Receives $20,000 Donation for Technology: Ybarra Academy Principal Annette Ramirez is thrilled to announce that the Ybarra PTSA just received a donation for $20,000 to be used for technology needs at the school. The donation was received from the Mary Robert Meason Trust, thanks to the efforts of Ybarra parents Mr. & Mrs. Brian and Jennifer Oliver. Ybarra PTSA President Steve Gasca said, “Today our PTSA board held a special meeting and accepted a ratified proposal from the Arts & Technology committee to purchase 40 iPad Minis as a mobile computer lab. This portable station will be available to all student classrooms in the fall. This donation is in addition to us reaching our two-year technology goal of $20,000, thanks to our community.”
